In a shocking CNN poll released on Wednesday, nearly three-quarters of registered Democrats stated that they want someone other than Vice President Kamala Harris as their nominee for the upcoming November election.
On Sunday, President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race, later issuing a statement endorsing Harris as the nominee.
It’s Clear the Democrats Don’t Care About the Will of the Voter, They Just Care About Power

As the Democrats continue their efforts to effectively install Harris as their nominee, ignoring the will of the voters, a new CNN poll shows that left-leaning voters want to have a different nominee.
Many speculate that this was the Democrats’ plan all along, to keep Biden in the race past the primaries to prevent an outsider candidate from winning the support of the base — similar to their coup against the insurgent candidate, socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), in the last two Democrat primaries.
Meanwhile, Democrat voters across the country have been condemning the “dictatorship” of the Democrat National Committee (DNC), with even Black Lives Matter (BLM) calling out the “oligarchs” in the party for orchestrating an effective coup against the will of the 14 million voters who chose Biden — as DNC delegates will now be free to choose the party’s nominee.
It appears that the CNN poll confirmed that voters agree with BLM’s outrage, as Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents were asked: “Is there a specific person you’d like to see the Democratic Party nominate for president, or do you just want to see someone besides Kamala Harris?”
The poll found that 73% of respondents want “just some besides Kamala Harris,” while 27% specified who they wished to be the nominee — with 5% choosing Michelle Obama, 4% choosing California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), 3% choosing Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, 3% choosing Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D), 3% choosing Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D), 3% choosing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), 2% choosing independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and 1% choosing Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D).
The poll — which was one of the first published polls since Biden endorsed Harris — surveyed 1,631 voters and was conducted from July 22 to 23 with a 3% margin of error.
