Kamala Harris Ranked As Most Far-Left Senator, Further Left Than Bernie Sanders

Dark Details Emerging About Kamala Harris

A GovTrack scorecard from 2019 showed that, despite the left’s insistence that Vice President Kamala Harris is a moderate or centrist candidate, she was ranked as the “most liberal” senator — even further left than socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Harris has been endorsed by President Joe Biden and several other prominent Democrats to be the Democrat nominee for president in the upcoming November election following Biden’s decision to drop out of the race on July 21.

Since that news broke, many have tried to portray Harris as some sort of “moderate” candidate, but it was clear to conservatives that she is far from a centrist.

GovTrack’s website states that its ideology analysis assigns scores to lawmakers based on their “legislative behavior” — including by “whether they sponsor and cosponsor overlapping sets of bills and resolutions with other Members of Congress.

“The score can be interpreted as a left–right scale measuring the dominant ideological difference or differences among Members of Congress, although of course it only takes into account a small aspect of reality,” it explained.

In 2019, GovTrack ranked all 100 senators, listing Harris at #100 and giving her the title of the most leftist senator. That same year, Sanders came in at #99, while Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) won the title of most conservative senator.

Explaining the ranking, GovTrack showed that Harris joined bipartisan bills “the least often compared to Senate Democrats,” with only 15% of the legislation cosponsored by Harris being introduced by a member of the opposing party.

It was also shown that Harris had “held the fewest committee positions compared to Senate Sophomores (tied with 1 other),” and noted that she was the “3rd most absent in votes” compared to the rest of the Senate.

While Harris faces praise and endorsements from prominent Democrats like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and two-time failed presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, it is clear to many Americans that her radical positions and her poor record do not qualify Harris for the presidency — including her support for bail funds for violent Black Lives Matter (BLM) rioters, her history of holding inmates in prison past their release dates to use as cheap labor, her failure as Biden’s border czar and much more.
