Bernie Sanders Has A Meltdown Over Onesies

Bernie Sanders Has Unhinged Meltdown on Senate Floor

Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) had an unhinged meltdown on the floor of the Senate over baby “onesies,” demanding that Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. condemn the baby outfits.

Sanders was one of many Democrats who threw a temper tantrum during Kennedy’s confirmation hearing on January 29, and is also one of several Democrats that received the most money from Big Pharma donations — which is no shock considering that each of these Democrats’ attacks on Kennedy were based on his concerns about Big Pharma.

However, Sanders’ meltdown appeared to be the most unhinged of all, as he brought up “onesie” baby outfits being sold by the Children’s Health Defense group, which Kennedy founded.

“I think the gist of what you were trying to say today is you’re really pro-vaccine. You want to ask questions, you have started a group called the Children’s Health Defense. You’re the originator,” the socialist senator began.

He then showed images of some of the products sold on the Children’s Health Defense website, including onesies that read: “Unvaxxed Unafraid” and “No Vax. No Problem.”

Sanders then proceeded to have one of the most unhinged meltdowns of his career, demanding that Kennedy disavow these onesies.

“They are selling what’s called onesies. These are little things, clothing for babies. One of them is… ‘Unvaxxed Unafraid.’ Next one — and they sold for 26 bucks a piece, by the way — next one is ‘No Vax. No Problem.’ They are coming before this committee, and you say you are pro-vaccine… and yet your organization is making money selling a child’s product to parents for 26 bucks, which cast fundamental doubt on the usefulness of vaccines,” he ranted.

“Can you tell us now that you will — now that you are pro-vaccine — that you’re going to have your organization take these products off the market?” Sanders asked.

Kennedy calmly responded to the meltdown by pointing out that he had resigned from the board of the organization months ago, and thus has no power over what they do.

Of course, Sanders refused to accept that answer, instead continuing to demand that Kennedy needed to disavow the onesies and push the organization to stop selling them.

“Are you supportive of this?” the socialist senator asked.

“I’ve had nothing to do —” Kennedy began to answer, but was immediately interrupted by Sanders asking: “Are you supportive of these onesies?”

“I’m supportive of vaccines,” Kennedy responded.

“Are you supportive of these — this clothing, which is militantly anti-vaccine?” Sanders asked, prompting Kennedy to laugh.

“I am supportive of vaccines. I want good science,” Kennedy reiterated.

Sanders interrupted him again to give his closing one-liner: “You will not tell the organization you founded not to continue selling that product.”
