KJP Claims Biden Was Always ‘Truthful’ With Public

KJP Makes Wild Claim That is Completely FALSE

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is now falsely claiming that President Joe Biden had been “truthful” with the American people when discussing pardoning his son.

Biden and other White House officials have repeatedly stated that there would be no pardon for Hunter Biden, prompting the media to parrot that talking point for months while praising the president for respecting the rule of law.

However, on Sunday, Biden issued a shockingly broad pardon for his son — protecting him not just from the crimes he has pled guilty for or been convicted of, but from all federal crimes committed between 2014 and December 1, 2024.

This has effectively made Biden, White House officials, and the mainstream media liars and hypocrites.

Of course, the Democrats don’t actually care about their hypocrisy, as they run the narrative machine and their voters will just fall in line with the new talking points. Jean-Pierre was one of those people, as she has vehemently insisted on at least four occasions that Biden would not be pardoning his son.

However, Jean-Pierre has since fallen in line, telling a press gaggle — where video cameras were not present — that Biden has “always” been “truthful” to the American people.

“One of the things that the president always believes is to be truthful to the American people,” the press secretary claimed, despite Biden repeatedly promising on the record that he would not pardon his degenerate son. “That is something that he always truly believes.”

Jean-Pierre then highlighted the portion of Biden’s statement where he falsely claimed that he has always followed the principle: “just tell the American people the truth.”

That portion of the president’s statement also claimed, “Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice – and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.”

Jean-Pierre went on to claim that Biden had only made the decision this past weekend, though many other reports indicate that the president had been planning this for a while.

For example, a report from NBC News claimed that Biden had been secretly planning to pardon Hunter Biden ever since June, when he was convicted of federal gun charges — with the outlet asserting that the plan to “publicly say he would not pardon his son even though doing so remained on the table.” Other reports have also indicated that the decision was made in part due to “pressure” from first lady Jill Biden.

Surprisingly, the media pushed back against Jean-Pierre’s claims, questioning her about Biden’s remark that his own Department of Justice (DOJ) had been “infected” with politics and was essentially broken.

“He believes in the Justice Department,” Jean-Pierre countered. “This is his words. He said this. This is the president saying this.”

Reporters then pressed her about “how deep” the “rot” is within the DOJ and “how many selective prosecutions” there are within the agency.

Jean-Pierre responded: “What I can speak to is this particular case, which is Hunter Biden, who has the last name of the president, who, I just said, there were political opponents who were very clear and very vocal about going after his son.”

Meanwhile, even some Democrats are outraged over Biden’s shockingly broad pardon for his son, with a few on the left calling it “stupidly selfish,” “senile,” and “just plain wrong.” Some have even argued that it has “destroyed” Biden’s legacy and made him a “serial liar.”
