The Reich Thing

Top Democrat Leaders Encouraging Citizens to Do the ‘Reich’ Thing

Top Democrat leaders are encouraging their citizens to do the ‘Reich’ thing: Turn in your neighbors. In Oregon under Governor Kate Brown the Daily Mail reported “Those who break the rules could face up to 30 days in jail, $1,250 in fines, or both.” for violating COVID19 restrictions.

As Usual, Democrat Leaders in Oregon are the Worst

Oregon has led the news a lot in 2020, from Antifa and BLM terrorizing the people of Portland and Salem, to defending against cyber attacks during the 2020 Election. Today it’s all about COVID19 restrictions. Interesting that the woman who refused to crack down on Antifa and BLM is leading the charge against Thanksgiving.

In an interview with KGW’s Maggie Vespa, Vespa asked : “Do you want people calling the police on their neighbors, non-emergency lines or 911?” to which Governor Brown responded, “Look, this is no different from what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake,” Brown said. “What do neighbors do? They call law enforcement because it’s too noisy. This is just like that. It’s like a violation of a noise ordinance.”

Vespa quipped “But that could be a yes,” to which Brown replied,

“Yes. Yes. But honestly, they shouldn’t have to. This is about saving lives and it’s about protecting our fellow Oregonians. It’s about protecting our families; it’s about protecting our vulnerable community members, and frankly, it’s about protecting the entire state of Oregon.”

At the end of the day: calling in a noise complaint either means it’s after 11PM or you’re being a jerk. Narcing on your neighbors for privately celebrating a time honored religious and family gathering is simply offensive to the American spirit. That is authoritarianism and it isn’t who we are.

A Partial List of States Doing the ‘Reich’ Thing

According to KnoxNews, any Tennesseans who travel to a ‘high-risk’ state will be required to  either test negative for COVID19 or face mandatory quarantine.

KnoxNews also compiled a list of the strictest states requirements, here are the some of the harshest consequences:

  • New York- “Visitors must fill out a Health Department traveler form. Visitors can be fined up to $10,000 for non-compliance.”
  • Hawaii– “People violating state quarantine requirements face up to a $5,000 fine and up to a year in prison.”
  • Massachusetts– “Those who do not follow the rules face fines of up to $500 per day.”
  • Connecticut- “Failure to comply with the order carries a fine of up to $500 per violation.”
  • Pennsylvania– “Those who fail to comply with the travel restrictions could be fined up to $300.”
  • Alaska- “Visitors arriving without a previously taken test can get one for $250 and must self-quarantine while awaiting results, which may take three to five days or more. Testing is free for Alaska residents, who also have the option of a two-week quarantine instead of a test. Travelers pay their own quarantine costs.”
  • Washington, D.C.- “People staying in D.C. for more than three days have to test again three to five days after arriving. A mask mandate is in effect for most activities and places. “

States that do not have travel restrictions as of Nov. 23rd include:

  • Alabama
  • Arizona
  • Arkansas
  • Colorado
  • Delaware
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Idaho
  • Indiana

What have the Governors said?

According the Associated Press several states are increasing their Thanksgiving ‘guidelines’, the AP reported:

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said ““I must again pull back the reins,” on Monday as he restricted indoor gatherings to 10 people, down from 25. “It gives me no joy.”

“Washington’s Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee ordered gyms, bowling alleys, movie theaters, museums and zoos to shut down indoor operations. Stores must limit capacity to 25%.”

“California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced he is pulling the “emergency brake” on efforts to reopen the economy,” “The move closes many nonessential indoor businesses and requires the wearing of masks outside homes, with limited exceptions.”

While many mainstream-media sources will report these as ‘necessary restrictions’ to prevent the spread of COVID19 and more deaths, a logical person must ask two questions: 1.) If the first lockdown worked, why do we require a second? 2.) If the first lockdown didn’t work, why would we do it again?

Happy Thanksgiving. Please pass the cranberry sauce.
