Emotional Californian Confronts Newsom On Wildfires

Newsom Gets Confronted Over Mismanaged California Fire Situation

An emotional California mother confronted Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on Thursday to beg him to implement a better response to the wildfires. Rather than deal with her questions, the radical leftist governor pretended to be on the phone with President Joe Biden.

The emotional woman, whose daughter’s school had burned down in the uncontrolled Los Angeles wildfires, demanded that Newsom explain how he plans to help the communities whose lives and livelihoods have been destroyed by the five wildfires rampaging through Los Angeles.

Of course, Newsom did not have an answer for her — and instead pretended to be on the phone with Biden to discuss the crisis.

The woman was not convinced, firing back: “Can I hear it? Because I don’t believe it.”

Newsom then slightly walked back his comment, stating that he had tried “five times” to call Biden.

The woman responded by asking why Biden wasn’t taking his calls, to which Newsom claimed: “it’s not going through, so I have to get cell service.”

“Let’s get it, let’s get it, I want to be here when you call the president,” she replied.

“I appreciate [that], I’m doing that right now and we need to get immediate reimbursements, individual assistance to help you. I’m devastated for you, I’m so sorry, especially for your daughter,” Newsom claimed.

The mother refused to back down, instead pivoting to an extremely important question: why do California fire hydrants lack the water necessary to put out the fires?

Newsom again refused to provide a real answer to her questions, attempting to reassure her that he is taking every step necessary to give Californians the resources they need. He then shut down the conversation and stepped into his vehicle.

That didn’t stop her from continuing to press him, as she said: “What are you gonna do? I would fill up [the hydrants] personally you know that. I would fill up all of the hydrants myself. But would you do that?”

“I would do whatever I can,” Newsom replied.

“But you’re not,” the woman interjected. “I see — do you know there’s water dripping over there, governor? There’s water coming out of there, you can use it.”

“I appreciate that, I’m gonna make the call to address everything I can right now, including making sure people are safe,” the governor responded before fleeing.
