DC Mayor Muriel Bowser may not be such a big fan of Joe Biden much longer.
For the second time, Joe Biden has refused her request.
Bowser has been informed that her second request of have National Guard play escort for illegal immigrants in the city will not be granted.

Here is the problem…
Joe Biden says the border “crisis” is not a crisis at all.
Secretary Mayorkas has it all under control.
That one little word is the key to this refusal.
National Guard only gets activated during times of crisis.
War, natural catastrophe, rioting, etc.
If Joe Biden allows Bowser to call in the National Guard, even to help with processing, this gets elevated to a crisis, and that is just not going to happen.
Defense Department executive secretary Kelly Bulliner Holly broke the news to Bowser.
Holly wrote, “The DCNG has no specific experience in or training for this kind of mission or unique skills for providing facility management, feeding, sanitation or ground support.
“Approval of this request would also result in a substantial readiness impact to the DCNG.
“Devoting the personnel or the facility for such an extended mission would force the cancellation or disruption of military training.”
So, sorry, Muriel, but you are not going to get the Guard for cleanup duty.
Maybe now, however, you will gain a little respect for what Texas and Arizona are dealing with on a daily basis.
