Smith: House GOP Has To Investigate Possible Iran-Democrat Collusion

Its High Time These Democrats are REMOVED

In the wake of a bombshell report that Iranian hackers stole information from the Trump campaign and sent it to the Biden-Harris campaign and the mainstream media, Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO) is calling on his fellow House Republicans to investigate potential collusion between Democrats and Iran — and the House Judiciary Committee has already begun investigating the incident.

The news of the hack and leak operation was released in a Wednesday joint statement from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The agencies previously confirmed that materials had been stolen from the Trump campaign earlier this year, but the public was not aware that the materials had been sent to the Biden-Harris campaign until now. According to the statement, the Trump campaign materials were sent to Biden’s campaign in late June and early July, just before Biden dropped out of the race.

While Biden, Harris, and these federal agencies have all claimed that there is “no information” proving that the Biden-Harris campaign even opened these “unsolicited emails,” Trump and his allies believe that there is a high probability that they have read and used these materials for their benefit.

During a Friday appearance on Newsmax’s “National Report,” Smith argued that the House needed to investigate whether there was direct collusion between Iran and the Democrats — pointing out that the Democrats wasted billions of dollars investigating the fake Russia Collusion Hoax against Trump, and noting that the left is “always guilty of what they accuse” Republicans of doing.

“There should absolutely be an investigation,” the Missouri Republican said. “This is reckless behavior of Vice President Harris. The Democrats to collude with the Iranians, the same individuals that we know… are trying to assassinate Donald Trump alone. The Democrats are always guilty of what they accuse the Republicans of being in. They tried to say Russian collusion in the last election when, in fact, you should look in the mirror.”

Smith went on to argue that even the thought of the Harris campaign or the now-defunct Biden campaign colluding with Iran is seriously concerning.

“We need to look into it,” the congressman said. “We absolutely have to investigate it… because we don’t know the answers to that. But if we find out that there was any collusion with the Democrats, with Vice President Harris, with Iran, we are going to be cleaning out some closets. Iran is not a friend to the United States or the former president.”

Meanwhile, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has already sent a letter to the FBI demanding a briefing on the hacking incident.

According to a post from reporter Catherine Herridge, the letter included questions such as: “What material did Iran obtain from Trump campaign?” and “To whom at the Biden for President or Harris for President campaigns did the hackers send info?”

Jordan also reportedly requested to be briefed on any actions that the Biden campaign or Harris campaign took in response to the incident.
