Iran Sent Hacked Materials Stolen From Trump To Harris, Biden, Media

Hackers affiliated with the Iranian regime reportedly stole materials from the Trump campaign and sent them to the Biden-Harris campaign and the mainstream media, according to a bombshell statement from the federal government.

As President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and other Democrats have been friendly to Iran throughout the past four years, it is no shock that the Iranian regime would try to interfere in the 2024 U.S. elections on behalf of Democrats — especially because former President Donald Trump was extremely harsh on the terror-supporting nation, taking serious measures to curtail Iranian aggression that included ending the disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal.

When news broke that his campaign had been hacked by Iran, Trump stated that the hack had occurred because “Iran is no friend of mine, a lot of bad signals get sent.” However, at that time, he was not yet made aware that the hacked materials had been sent to his political opponents.

The news came via a joint statement released on Wednesday from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

“Since the 19 August 2024 joint ODNI, FBI, and CISA public statement on Iranian Election Influence Efforts, the FBI has learned additional details about Iran’s efforts to sow discord and shape the outcome of U.S. elections,” the statement began.

The document then explained that “Iranian malicious cyber actors” had sent “unsolicited emails” to Biden campaign officials back in June and early July, which “contained an excerpt taken from stolen, non-public material from former President Trump’s campaign as text in the emails.”

The federal agencies claimed that “no information” has been found to indicate that the recipients replied to those “unsolicited emails” containing Trump campaign materials.

“Furthermore, Iranian malicious cyber actors have continued their efforts since June to send stolen, non-public material associated with former President Trump’s campaign to U.S. media organizations,” the statement continued.

The agencies went on to condemn Iran’s efforts to interfere in U.S. elections, writing: “This malicious cyber activity is the latest example of Iran’s multi-pronged approach, as noted in the joint August statement, to stoke discord and undermine confidence in our electoral process.  As the lead for threat response, the FBI has been tracking this activity, has been in contact with the victims, and will continue to investigate and gather information in order to pursue and disrupt the threat actors responsible.”

“Foreign actors are increasing their election influence activities as we approach November,” the statement continued. “In particular, Russia, Iran, and China are trying by some measure to exacerbate divisions in U.S. society for their own benefit, and see election periods as moments of vulnerability.”

“Efforts by these, or other foreign actors, to undermine our democratic institutions are a direct threat to the U.S. and will not be tolerated,” the statement concluded.

It is unclear whether the Biden-Harris administration has plans to punish Iran in any way for their attempted interference in U.S. elections.

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign has since responded to the news in a statement.

“This is further proof the Iranians are actively interfering in the election to help Kamala Harris and Joe Biden because they know President Trump will restore his tough sanctions and stand against their reign of terror. Kamala and Biden must come clean on whether they used the hacked material given to them by the Iranians to hurt President Trump. What did they know and when did they know it?” the statement from Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt read.
