Joe Biden was caught on camera having a meltdown over the situation in Afghanistan, leaving many concerned about his leadership skills.
Afghanistan has fallen to the Taliban after Joe Biden‘s botched withdrawal of troops from the country, and the former vice president has not handled questions very well about his plan — or lack thereof — for the withdrawal.
Speaking from the White House, Biden snapped back at a reporter who tried to ask him a simple question about the Taliban.
“Do you trust the Taliban?” the reporter asked.
“I don’t trust anybody including you. I love you but there’s not a lot of people I trust,” Biden responded.
Immediately after the outburst, Biden attempted to make up for his mini-meltdown by rambling about the terrorist group.
“Look, the Taliban has a — Taliban has to make a fundamental decision. Is the Taliban going to attempt to be able to unite and provide for the well-being of the people of Afghanistan, which no one group has ever done since before — for hundreds of years? And if it does, it’s going to need everything from additional help in terms of economic assistance, trade, and a whole range of things,” he added.

Biden’s refusal to actually answer the question further highlights his incompetence on the matter of Afghanistan. Rather than following a coherent strategy in the withdrawal, he left thousands of weapons and other military equipment for the Taliban to take, left American citizens and allies at the mercy of the Taliban, and just all-around botched this withdrawal. At this point, things have gone so badly that even the mainstream media is asking him tough questions.
