In the wake of the second assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, a clip of Vice President Kamala Harris joking about personally killing him has resurfaced.
The Democrat presidential candidate joked about killing either Trump, then-Vice President Mike Pence, or then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions during a 2018 appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, when Trump was still serving as president.
The comment came in response to a question from DeGeneres, who asked then-Sen. Harris (D-CA): “If you had to be stuck in an elevator with either President Trump, Mike Pence or Jeff Sessions, who would it be?”
Instead of responding to that question like a sane human being, Harris replied: “Does one of us have to come out alive?”
She immediately broke out into her signature hysterical laugh after making the crude joke, prompting laughter and applause from the audience and DeGeneres.

The Trump campaign has since dropped a new ad that includes the clip of Harris — as well as many other clips of Democrats calling for violence against Trump, including President Joe Biden’s infamous “take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him” comment. The ad also featured Madonna, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), and others.

It is clear to any rational observer that the rhetoric from Harris, the mainstream media, and other Democrats has inspired the two assassination attempts against Trump. With the left constantly portraying the Republican nominee as a “danger to democracy” and comparing him to Adolph Hitler, it is no surprise that two deranged men were inspired to try to assassinate Trump — as many speculate that the would-be assassins expected to be celebrated for eliminating “the next Hitler.”
Harris’ supposed “joke” about killing Trump was not even slightly controversial to Democrats, while it is obvious that the same “joke” made about Harris would probably land Trump in prison.
Meanwhile, Trump himself has laid the blame for the two assassination attempts at the feet of Harris, Biden, and the Democrats.
