Russian President Vladimir Putin, incensed by Joe Biden’s baffling and incoherent diplomatic disaster has challenged him to a live on-air debate. It is a challenge that Biden has reportedly declined.
“I’ve just thought of this now,” Putin proposed for a reporter in Moscow on Thursday in what appeared to be a staged challenge. “I want to invite President Biden to continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do it actually live. But with no delays, directly in an open, direct discussion.”
“I don’t want to put this off for long. I want to go to the taiga this weekend to relax a little,” Putin mocked. “So we could do it tomorrow or Monday. We are ready at any time convenient for the American side.”
Biden Declines…Embarrassingly Through His Press Secretary
According to the New York Post, Press Secretary Jen Psaki responded to questions regarding the invitation saying that Biden is “quite busy”.
“I don’t have anything to report to you in terms of a future meeting. The president will, of course, be in Georgia tomorrow and quite busy,”
Putin lashed out following the interview’s broadcast telling reporters, ““You know, I remember, in childhood, when we were arguing with each other in the courtyard, we would say, ‘I know you are, but what am I,’” Putin commented. “And that’s no accident. It’s not just a childish saying. There is a very deep meaning in that.”
“I would say to him: ‘Be well.’ I wish him good health. I say that without any irony, without jokes,” Putin proclaimed.
Jen Psaki was asked by reporters if Biden regretted his remarks, given the massive diplomatic fallout that has resulted. Her reply was uncharacteristically direct. “Nope.”
“The president gave a direct answer to a direct question,” she stated.
Putin is Laughing At Us.. Patronizingly..
Does that really project strength? Shying away from Putin’s sharp words doesn’t speak highly of Biden’s willingness to fight for American interests on the world stage. Fox News’ Sean Hannity summed it up nicely saying Putin ““is openly mocking the president of the United States for his own amusement and frankly, I find it, as an American citizen, humiliating.”
The video says it all, look at Putin’s expression, his eyes. Its’ subtle but its there, he’s laughing at Biden and the American people with a Patronizing look on his face, as if he pities us. 59 days in office and Biden has humiliated us on the world stage. Its pathetic and shameful.
