President-elect Donald Trump has once again emphasized his vow that there will be severe consequences for Hamas and its supporters if they do not release the 101 hostages still being held in Gaza following the horrific October 7 terrorist attack in Israel.

Trump warned the terror group that if they do not release all of these hostages by the time of his inauguration on January 20, 2025, there will be “ALL HELL TO PAY.”

The president-elect reiterated his warning in a fiery post on Truth Social on Monday, which came soon after it was revealed that another American hostage being held by Hamas, Edan Alexander, was dead. It also came just one day after Hamas released a video was released of a different American-Israeli hostage that appeared to be part of an effort to pressure Trump to push for more concessions from Israel in the ongoing ceasefire negotiations.

However, unlike President Joe Biden, Trump has no intention of bowing to the terrorist group’s demands — instead vowing that Hamas “will be hit harder than anybody has been hit” in U.S. history.

“Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East – But it’s all talk, and no action!” Trump wrote in the Truth Social post. “Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity. Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!”

This was not the first time that Trump made strong threats against Hamas, as he discussed the issue in his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention earlier this year, stating: “To the entire world, we want our hostages back—and they better be back before I assume office, or you will be paying a very big price.”

Meanwhile, the family of the hostage who was revealed to be dead on Monday, American-Israeli citizen Omer Neutra, has released a statement expressing hope that the Israeli government would work alongside outgoing President Biden and President-elect Trump to “use all of their leverage and resources to return all 101 hostages — living and the deceased — to their families as soon as possible.” Neutra’s parents were also in attendance at the RNC when Trump issued the warning to Hamas.
