Why did Donald Trump take so many documents out of the White House when he left?
That is the burning question.
That would be especially true of Defense Department documents.
A new report is shedding some light on that.

Rolling Stone reported this week that Trump took them because he was worried.
He was concerned that the Biden administration would destroy documents regarding the Russian collusion investigation, so he took them with him when he left.
Trump believed that it would not be an issue if he declassified the documents.
That might explain those documents, but he will still have to explain why he was taking documents related to foreign military capabilities.
We know those documents were included because the DOJ leaked the information to the media this week.
The most recent reporting stated that more than 100 (of the more than 11,000 documents taken) had a security classification attached to them.
Those documents will haunt Trump and likely result in an indictment.
That is all Democrats want out of this so they can take him out of the picture for the 2024 election.
The idea that Trump would be convicted or do time is almost laughable, but, like I said, that is not the endgame Democrats are going for here.
