A chaotic rampage ended with a suspect being declared dead, but this nasty rage was so bad that the fact he died makes for a happy ending.

In Vineland, NJ there was a suspect who was driving a stolen backhoe who flipped an ambulance and a Vineland police cruiser onto their sides, not to mention the fact that he smashed into a multitude of other vehicles during a chaotic rampage on the Saturday just before Christmas, according to witnesses.

This chaotic rampage occurred in the Penn Lincoln Mobile Home Park between Bradywine Drive and Pennsylvania Avenue at approximately 5:30 a.m. on December 18th, according to WPVI.

Witnesses said that one of the first things they saw that morning was the backhoe driving through their neighborhood and then crashing into a red sedan repeatedly.

The owner of the sedan was Theresa Marie, and she was just driving to work when she noticed the backhoe driver behind her. Ever the courteous driver, Marie said she thought that the backhoe would simply pass by her if she pulled over by the side of the road, so that’s exactly what she did. However, the driver slammed into her car instead.

“The backhoe was hitting the red car, just kept hitting it, then within a span of maybe like three to five minutes an ambulance pulled up and then the ambulance pulled into the driveway,” resident Nykatora Holley told WPVI.

The suspect then proceeded to slam into an ambulance and flip it onto its side, according to other witnesses.

Unfortunately, this disturbed individual was not done with his chaotic rampage just yet. He turned his attention to a Vineland police vehicle.

“He crashed into the officer’s car, backed up, and then crashed into it again, and then backed up and then sped off,” Holley recounted. “And he was going pretty fast.”

There was a video clip that captured the moment when the suspect used this backhoe to ram the Vineland patrol SUV, also pushing it on its side.

Holley described the entire incident as “terrifying,” WPVI reported.

“I have never seen anything like this. Not around here,” resident Tom Propheita told the news outlet. “It’s scary, really.”

The destruction ended when a Vineland police officer opened fire on the suspect and killed him, according to WTXF.

Officers and emergency medical personnel rendered first aid after the shooting, but medical professionals pronounced him deceased at approximately 5:45 a.m.

This psycho and his chaotic rampage injured three Vineland police officers during his hideous outburst. Luckily, these law enforcement officers were treated at home and were able to be released to continue their recovery at home.

Police also noted that Marie had suffered some minor injuries during the attack, according to KYW.

In addition to overturning the patrol vehicle and the ambulance, the suspect left another patrol vehicle with significant front-end damage. Marie’s red sedan was totally demolished.

Any possible motive for the attack has not been released, and the New Jersey Attorney General’s office is handling this ongoing investigation.
