The FBI apparently has a rat deep inside Trump’s operation.
The rat is so deep, in fact, he or she knew exactly where the FBI should go looking for the so-called classified documents.
Spying on a President
This is now the second time that the FBI has infiltrated Trump.
This one is much worse.
While the sources would not reveal their names, Newsweek dropped the bombshell in an exclusive report.
The documents and location of the documents were given to the FBI by a “confidential informant.”
One of the sources told Newsweek, “I know that there is much speculation out there that this is political persecution, but it is really the best and the worst of the bureaucracy in action.
“They wanted to punctuate the fact that this was a routine law enforcement action, stripped of any political overtones, and yet [they] got exactly the opposite.”
The second unnamed source stated, “They were seeking to avoid any media circus.
“So even though everything made sense bureaucratically and the FBI feared that the documents might be destroyed, they also created the very firestorm they sought to avoid, in ignoring the fallout.”
Keep in mind, Trump had been cooperating with National Archives and the DOJ on this for months, even turning over 15 cases of documents.
Also, remember that presidents typically remove documents for their library and memoirs.
Unless this is like a top-secret plan to invade Russia, I don’t see the big issue other than trying to prevent Trump from running for office again in 2024.
