It would appear to outsiders that the pressures of running the world’s most massive software empire while pushing the most aggressive vaccination program in history have become simply too much to bear for Bill and Melinda Gates. It’s hard to say the precise cause but speculation abounds, was it corruption of their joint legacy, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation? The long stretches of seperation? Or the continued involvement of Bill with his ex-girlfriend turned “friend”Ann Winblad?
First, The Corruption
In the last year it has become well known that the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation has pumped over a billion dollars into the COVID19 response, lobbying governments the world-over to require full vaccination and conduct patently harmful lockdowns.
The Gates’ have taken a controversial leading role in the COVID19 response according to the Seattle Times,
“We know how to work with governments. We know how to work with pharma. We’ve thought about this scenario,” Gates said in a recent interview. “We need — at least in terms of expertise and relationships — to play a very, very key role here.”
Over the years Bill Gates took a keen interest in vaccinations, leading to billions of dollars in investment and creating deep ties to Non-Profits and the World Health Organization, who proved to be a truly corrupted organization during the early stages of COVID by cowtowing to the Chinese Communist Party.
“The Gates Foundation presence has been, at best, an adjunct to WHO and at worst a hostile takeover and a usurpation,” said Amir Attaran, a University of Ottawa professor of law and medicine.
Second, A Strange Arrangement
Multiple outlets have reported that Bill Gates and venture capitalist Ann Winblad, his former girlfriend have remained close throughout the 27 years Bill and Melinda were together and even maintained a tradition of an annual vacation together… reportedly with Melinda’s blessing.
The End of Bill and Melinda Gates- The Divorce Of The Millennium
Bill and Melinda Gate’s divorce will be the largest division of assets since Jeff Bezos and his wife MacKenzie split in mid 2019, and one of the most expensive divorces in human history (not counting monarchs). However, the heavy lifting may already be done as court documents for the dissolution of marriage repeatedly refer to a ‘separation contract’ which both have signed. A contract which has not been made public. In the court documents Melinda has stated that spousal support or alimony is ‘not needed’.
According to The Daily Mail, “The Gates empire includes homes in five states; a fleet of cars; an art collection that includes a $30million book of writings and sketches by Leonardo Da Vinci; and a series of private jets”
Court papers show the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement when they married in 1994 therefore, their $130 billion fortune will be subject to the divorce proceedings of the millennium.
“Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives. We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives. We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life.”

Conflicting Goals and Methods
One potential area of contention could regard the Gates Foundation’s confusing opposition to an open distribution model for the COVID vaccine, in spite of their insistence that the vaccine be readily available to the world. India Today wrote that Bill even “tried to influence the ignorant audience with false claims calling it “vaccine racism.” all while himself, preventing and speaking out against sharing the vaccine technology with developing countries so that they could produce the vaccine domestically claiming it would be “too expensive to share the vaccine patents with developing countries” and citing security issues. Gates even rather hawkishly said in a TED talk.
“The world needs to prepare for pandemics in the same serious way it prepares for war,”
While causality is not causation, the timing is interesting that these stories of Bill fighting moves to make the vaccine tech readily available to the world coincides with the sudden divorce announcement. Is it possible that this was the last straw to break the multi-billion dollar marriage?
