One of the biggest proponents of the Russian collusion hoax, who still hasn’t apologized or even admitted she was wrong, is now taking a hiatus from her prime time MSNBC show.
Starting the first week of February 2022, Rachel Maddow will be taking a break from lying to the American people on her nightly show in order to focus on other projects, according to several reports.
“The Rachel Maddow Show,” which airs on weekdays at 9 p.m. ET on MSNBC, is the network’s top-rated show by far, and is the most-watched cable news show outside of Fox News shows. It has been on the air since 2008, and Maddow has gained a loyal following of rabid cultists who hang on her every word as she spins the “facts” to fit the leftist narrative.
Unfortunately for them, Maddow’s hiatus is scheduled to begin on February 4th, and a slate of several replacement hosts are expected to take turns substituting for her during her break.
While she is gone, Maddow has plans to work on several projects for NBCUniversal. According to reporting from the Daily Wire, those plans include “a new podcast and a movie based on her book, Bag Man, which delves into the scandal that dogged and eventually forced the resignation of former U.S. Vice President Spiro Agnew. Ben Stiller will reportedly direct the movie, a Focus Features production, and Maddow will executive produce the film.”
Reports regarding Maddow’s planned absence have indicated that she does intend to return to her show on a few occasions during her hiatus, but just for special events like Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, which is scheduled for March 1st.
The news of her decision to take a break from her show comes soon after Maddow signed a new contract with MSNBC, which had given her fans hope that the previous rumors that she had considered leaving the network were false. The new contract involves paying Maddow an unbelievable $30 million a year to keep her at the network through the 2024 election.
