A Trump-hating RINO is making insane comments about buying armor to protect himself in wake of him voting to impeach President Donald Trump for doing absolutely nothing wrong.
RINO Want Body Armor to Protect Himself
U.S. Rep. Peter Meijer from Michigan has made conservatives furious by helping to impeach President Trump who he claims incited violence on January 6.
On Thursday, the lawmaker went on MSNBC to talk about how he and his colleagues are needing to protect themselves.
“You don’t want to give assassins veto, insurrectionists veto,” he said. “If we let that guide our decisions, then you’re cowering to the mob. That’s the definition of terrorism: Trying to achieve a political end using violence.”
Drama in the House
Meijer went on to say he is now taking extreme precautions to protect himself.
“Many of us are altering our routines, working to get body armor, which is a reimbursable purchase that we can make,” he said. “It’s sad that we have to get to that point, but our expectation is someone may try to kill us.”
In a truly dramatic moment, the RINO went on about his expectations now that he has turned his back on Americans.
“Our expectation is that someone might try to kill us,” Meijer said during the televised interview.
Republicans Who Deserve No Respect
Meijer and nine other Republican representatives, including U.S. Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, crossed party lines to vote in favor of impeachment. The others were Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming; Rep. Tom Rice, R-South Carolina; Rep. Dan Newhouse, R-Washington; Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Illinois; Rep. Anthony Gonzalez, R-Ohio; Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Washington; Rep. John Katko, R-New York; and Rep. David Valadao, R-California.
When asked about the 20,000 National Guard troops that have been sent to Washington D.C., Meyers had even more insane comments to add.
“We don’t know what’s going to happen next,” he said. “In this unprecedented environment with this unprecedented levels of fear, of divisiveness, of hatred, we have to account for every scenario.”
