Posh White Parents Push Liberal Teacher Back Hard

If you’re going to indoctrinate young minds, in a school where most of the kids have “posh White parents,” it’s not a great idea to go attacking them on social media. One liberal teacher learned that important lesson the hard way.

Posh White parents push back

Local parents were outraged when they learned what was happening right under their noses. One female teacher thought she was going to be indoctrinating fourth grade students, in Utah, using nothing but woke progressive classroom aids.

The unnamed educator probably would have succeeded in getting away with it, if she hadn’t shot her mouth off on social media, divulging her evil plot to the public.

The teacher had a feeling that parents of her students might be more than a little perturbed at her plans. She couldn’t resist taunting them anyway, wondering aloud on a popular platform how the moms and dads of “students in a majority-White school would react to her classroom.

It’s custom built “for non-White students.” She just moved into the state and wasn’t fully accustomed to their ways. She got a taste of how conservative they are in that part of America.

For the first time in my life, I’m going to be teaching at a majority-White school, and I’m kind of interested to see how students and parents react to my classroom.” She speculates that White folks are so gullible they could walk right through the place and not notice the difference.

If she hadn’t gone out of her way to point it out, they might not have. It would have been Christmas break before anyone noticed that all the people in the coloring book were shades other than tan. Everything under her domain is focused on diversity.

Not at William Penn Elementary

When parents of students attending William Penn Elementary, on the outskirts of Salt Lake City, heard what filth the liberal was spewing, they melted down the district phone lines.

Yes, one of their new teachers really did say her classroom library is “overpowered” by books depicting “diverse peoples,” including “characters of color and different gender identities and sexual orientations.” She knew she should have kept quiet but spoke up anyway.

I feel like some parents might have something to say about that – if my experience with posh, White parents holds true for this year. We’ll see.” She found out, all right. According to the principal, her “personal commitment” is to “ensure every student feels safe and welcome.” Even the White ones.

It is “inappropriate for any employee to make students feel unwelcome in any way, shape or form.” The teacher already pulled the post.

The district is now “investigating the situation to identify whether any district policies had been violated.” They had wondered how engaged families would be after the COVID chaos. They are. Nicole Neily, president and founder of Parents Defending Education, notes. “We quickly learned that parents were even more worried than before, because they no longer had a window into their children’s educations – and videos like this prove that in many cases, those fears are well-founded.

The moment the investigation report comes back, “we anticipate taking appropriate corrective action,” the Granite School District notes. “We know that it is our role as educators to support parents and the families we serve, and we value our parents and their engagement in our schools and classrooms.
