On Full Display: Dems VIOLENT Rhetoric

Donald Trump’s lawyers brought the facts to refute Democrats’ lies, then destroyed their argument using their own violent rhetoric against them.

The Democrats brought “evidence” to the impeachment trial of Donald Trump, using out of context statements and manipulated evidence to try to make their case, but Trump’s lawyers brought some evidence of their own.

Donald Trump’s lawyer, David Schoen, took the trial one step further after eviscerating the Democrats’ arguments for impeachment. He brought a compilation video of top Democrats, celebrities, and members of the media doing exactly what they accuse Trump of doing: inciting, promoting, and cheering on violence.

Schoen also included a compilation of clips of Democrats using the word “fight,” a word that they say was meant to incite violence when President Trump used it.

His third video compilation included scenes from the violent Black Lives Matter protests that took place in 2020, with clips of Democrats celebrating those protests.

The Democrats’ charge against President Trump was that he incited an insurrection. Yet, they continually incited, celebrated, and promoted the violent BLM-ANTIFA riots that destroyed businesses and killed several people last year.

To prove their case, Democrats used out of context statements, selectively edited videos, and manipulated evidence, and Schoen wasn’t afraid to call them out.

“We now learn that the House managers, in their wisdom, have hired a movie company and a large law firm to create, manufacture, and splice for you a package designed by experts, to chill and horrify you, and our fellow Americans. They want to put you through a sixteen hour presentation over two days, focusing on this as if it were some sort of blood sport,” Schoen added.

During the trial, Schoen discussed several instances of manipulated evidence, including one speech from Democrat Representative Eric Swalwell, who claimed that a post retweeted by President Trump stated, “We are bringing the cavalry.” Swalwell said that this statement indicated that Trump wanted his supporters to show up armed for the January 6 rally in Washington, D.C.

The truth is that Swalwell either deliberately lied, or misread the tweet, which actually said, “We are bringing the Calvary,” referring to a representation of the crucifixion of Jesus, which is a Christian symbol of peace and love.

Along with that example, Schoen discussed several others in this video clip:

Looking at the actual evidence objectively, it is obvious that President Trump did not incite the storming of the Capitol. He was still speaking at the rally when it began, and in that speech, he asked his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” march to the Capitol “to make [their] voices heard.”

If any elected officials incited violence recently, it definitely wasn’t Republicans.
