It looks like the Republican National Committee (RNC) has taken a very sharp left turn. Having given up any chance at trying to woo GOP frontrunner Donald Trump to take part in the third debate, the RNC has decided to air the debate on a liberal mainstream media network.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) recently announced that Miami will host the third GOP presidential debate later this year. The event, which is scheduled to take place on November 8th, will be sponsored by NBC News and aired across the country.
This move shows that the RNC has all but given up hope of having former President Donald Trump participate in the debate.
???? BREAKING: Shocking revelations on the upcoming third GOP debate! The RNC has abandoned hope of luring Trump and instead opted for a blue southern city, Miami, with liberal broadcaster NBC News. Find out more about the candidates and controversy here: https://t.co/Jp5u1FuYOl

The RNC initially planned to hold the debate in Alabama as an effort to encourage Trump to participate however, they have now shifted their focus away from a more conservative region towards a more liberal city – Miami. Although no moderator or format has yet been announced, candidates must qualify for the stage by receiving 4 percent of votes in multiple polls and collecting at least 70,000 unique donors nationwide – putting nearly half of the current GOP field at risk of missing out on participation.
It appears as though President Trump is not interested in debating his low-polling rivals and recently told advisors he plans to skip out on this event. His campaign even called for future debates to be canceled altogether.
Rebecca Blumenstein, president of editorial for NBC News said her network looks forward to “continuing [their] leading reporting on the 2024 presidential race” and spotlighting “the issues that matter most” when it comes time for voters to make their decisions at the polls.
NBC also partnered up with Salem Radio Network, Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), and Rumble for this debate – each bringing something unique and valuable to viewers tuning in. For instance, RJC chair Norman Coleman emphasized speaking about Hamas’ atrocities committed against Israel during this broadcasted event stating: “American strength and American resolve — and our candidates’ vision for America’s role in the world — are more important than ever.”
