Nancy Pelosi gave Democrats a ray of hope on Friday when she announced she’ll be running again in ’24. While she can use the money, the big reason she made the announcement is because Dianne Feinstein knows her health is too frail for another term. Progressives are hoping that she makes it through this one. While Nancy’s in the House and Feinstein haunts the senate, the former speaker is “worried about her hometown’s clout.” San Francisco’s reputation has been dwindling since they lost Marin County’s Barbara Boxer.
Pelosi sticks around
Nancy Pelosi announced on September 8 that she plans to stick around. Yeah, some conservatives snicker, like a booger on your finger. She’s got firm plans to “run for reelection in 2024 for her San Francisco-area House seat, ending speculation about her political future.”
She got her gavel ripped away when they lost the majority and Kevin McCarthy’s got it now. She could have remained leader of the House Democratic caucus but chose to pass.
The 83-year-old lawmaker prefers to take a back seat. Unburdened by any committee positions, Nancy Pelosi is free to circulate around the cocktail party circuit, with a gin bottle practically hooked up on an IV stand at her elbow.
Nancy Pelosi, 83, announces she wants two more years in Congress "to help San Francisco's recovery".
Recovery from what? Your policies?
Democrat cities look like a bomb went off in a war zone.

“Now more than ever our city needs us to advance San Francisco values and further our recovery,” she tapped out on X. Values that include surrendering the federal building which bears your name to the drugged out street zombies.
As the police are seriously outnumbered by homeless drug addicts doing the fentanyl shuffle down the sidewalk, Pelosi reminds that “our country needs America to show the world that our flag is still there.”
She then insultingly adds “with liberty and justice for ALL.” As long as you don’t count MAGA types who support Donald Trump. Conservatives all belong in prison, she believes. “That is why I am running for reelection — and respectfully ask for your vote.”
One first after another
Washington Post was so hyped up that Nancy Pelosi will be in the race they practically wrote her obituary in glowing praise.
Her career, they note, “has been marked by historic firsts: She was the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House when she assumed the position in 2007. Almost a decade later she again assumed the speakership in 2019 after she helped usher in a large Democratic majority.”
Usually former speakers head off into obscurity but not Nancy. She doesn’t want to actually do any work but isn’t ready to give up the paycheck. After all, her husband is still recovering from that nasty attack.
San Francisco is an absolute disaster
Stores closing, empty offices, carjackings, homelessness, and open air drug markets
Yet Dems gleefully clap like trained seals hearing that Nancy Pelosi will run for office again
She’ll be almost 87 by the time her next term ends

One of her constituents broke into her home and attacked her husband with an unlicensed and unregistered assault hammer. Paul Pelosi is still dealing with the after-effects from that. She doesn’t mind staying quietly in the shadows because it’s time “for a new generation to lead the Democratic caucus that I so deeply respect.”
When Pelosi mentioned that she’s going to be in the race during her 60-year anniversary party, she took the opportunity to slam “the critics of 90-year-old Senator Dianne Feinstein.” Just because her “mental and physical condition has deteriorated in the last few years” is no reason to call for her resignation. That’s sexist. After all, look at how fuzzy 80-year-old Joe Biden is and he gets away with carrying around the nuclear launch codes.
She wont’ be the “mother-in-law in the kitchen” hovering “over today’s new Democratic leaders,” Pelosi promises. Instead she’s going to work the martini circuit “as roving political ambassador for Democrats, still helping raise money for candidates and liberal causes but without an official portfolio.” Like John Kerry.
