BREAKING: Billings, Montana @MMtTreasures just captured video moments after seeing a jet “go by so fast and then an explosion in the sky.” Was it the #ChinaBalloon? Nothing from the @PentagonPresSec or if the balloon was still in the area today. pic.twitter.com/WfckzMRGcI

I got a good photo of what fell out of the sky in Billings, Montana. Not sure if it was a balloon or some other explosion. Tried to go find it in my truck but was told to turn around by the National Guard blocking the road in a humvee. #Billings #explosion pic.twitter.com/wUxa99BJj3

In reaction to the video, defense officials have stated that the balloon has not exploded. Apparently officials have decided against shooting the mysterious balloon down, despite added pressures, due to fears of raining debris.
Reporter: "If the [Chinese spy balloon] is violating our airspace, why not take it down?"

Analysts say that the balloon is roughly about the size of ‘three buses’ and could likely have high-tech equipment attached to it. China has claimed that the object is just a civilian airship used for the purpose of meteorological research.
The military has dispatched helicopters in the area this evening.
Many believe that the state of Montana has activated it’s readiness protocols in response to the unusual balloon that was just spotted yesterday.
At this time, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte has shared that they are “monitoring the situation.”
