President Joe Biden has decided not to attend Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ election night watch party.
In the latest evidence of the rift between Biden and Harris, it has been confirmed that Biden and first lady Jill Biden will be watching the election results from the White House rather than attending Harris’ election night watch party just two miles away.
A White House official confirmed the news in a statement to the Washington Examiner, which read: “Tonight, the president and First Lady will watch election results in the White House residence with longtime aides and senior White House staff. The president will receive regular updates on the state of races across the country.”
The Harris campaign is holding their election night watch party at Harris’ alma mater, Howard University, a college in Washington, D.C. located less than two miles from the White House.
Conservatives on social media have pointed out that this is just further evidence of Biden’s hatred for Harris.

Ian Miles Cheong highlighted Biden’s decision to skip Harris’ event and Jill Biden’s decision to wear “the GOP’s shade of red” to the polls as evidence of the Biden family’s anger for Harris.
“Jill Biden is wearing the GOP’s shade of red to cast her vote. Joe Biden is skipping the Kamala Harris watch party. Do the math,” he wrote.

This is far from the first time that Biden showed disdain for Harris or outright undermined her campaign, which many people believe was his reaction to being forced out of the race and replaced by Harris, as well as the Harris campaign’s efforts to distance her from her boss and prevent him from campaigning for her.
One example was Biden’s decision to put on a Trump 2024 baseball cap during an October event.

Biden also undermined Harris amid the hurricanes hitting several southeastern states. After Harris attacked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for missing her phone call while he was busy dealing with the hurricane aftermath and preparation for another hurricane, Biden told reporters that he had spoken with DeSantis and he was doing a “great job.”
