Hollywood Star: Kamala Has ‘IQ Of A Fence Post’

A prominent Hollywood star hinted that he would choose former President Donald Trump over Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris, declaring that she had an “appalling track record” and the “IQ of a fence post.”

Mel Gibson — who acted and directed numerous movies, including Braveheart — was asked about the presidential election by TMZ while walking through the airport. While he did not outright admit that he would be voting for Trump, he strongly hinted at it.

“The president is being voted on in days. What’s your thoughts,” the TMZ reporter asked just under 12 days before the November election.

Gibson responded: “Oh man. That’s a big question.”

He then pointed out that it is not “gonna surprise anyone who I vote for” — hinting at his support.

The reporter immediately guessed what Gibson was hinting at, stating: “So, I’m gonna guess Trump.”

“That’s a pretty good guess,” Gibson fired back.

A reporter then asked what the Hollywood star believed a second term of Trump’s administration would be like, to which he responded with his concerns about a potential Harris administration.

“I know what it would be like if we let her in,” Gibson said. “Miserable track record. Appalling track record. No policies to speak of. And she’s got the IQ of a fence post.”

Gibson has been on his redemption arc recently, as he has been rising back to his previous popularity after undergoing a “transformation” following his infamous DUI arrest in 2006 where he made several anti-Jewish comments. While working with Gibson on Hacksaw Ridge, actor Andrew Garfield revealed that Gibson had “done a lot of beautiful healing with himself.”

“I learned a lot, actually. I learned that people can heal. I learned that people can change, that people can get help. I learned that everyone deserves respect,” Garfield said in response to a question about working with Gibson on Hacksaw Ridge.  “And that people deserve second chances, third chances, fourth chances. That none of us are infallible.”

“He’s done a lot of beautiful healing with himself,” the actor added. “And thank God. Because he’s an amazing filmmaker, and I think he deserves to make films. He deserves to tell stories, because he has a very, very big, compassionate heart. He’s the kind of director that would come from behind the monitors, just with his eyes wet. He knew when it was right and he knew when it wasn’t right. And I just really trusted him. And he’s a visceral storyteller so he can feel… He’s like he can’t help but feel everything. He’s a real empathetic guy.”

Gibson’s comments come amid Trump’s rising popularity among celebrities and members of the Hollywood elite, including endorsements from a variety of rappers such as Lord Jamar, Lil Pump, Sexyy Red, Kodak Black, Waka Flocka Flame, Azealia Banks, Chief Keef, and Benny The Butcher.
