Mike Lee Condemns Kamala For ‘Trolling For Assassins’

Kamala ‘Trolling For Assassins’

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) has called out Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris for effectively “trolling for assassins” with her shockingly vile remarks about former President Donald Trump, arguing that the Secret Service should probably be taking the comment “seriously in terms of its likelihood of increasing the threat matrix.”

After Trump has faced at least three assassination attempts — one of which led to a bullet striking the former president in the ear, the death of a Trump supporter, and the shooting of two others — Republicans demanded that Democrats tone down their incendiary and deranged rhetoric about Trump. If this situation was reversed, Republicans would be shamed into silence by the Democrats — but that’s not going to happen in this case, as Democrats have succumbed to Trump Derangement Syndrome to the point where they have no other arguments besides comparing the former president to Hitler.

On Thursday, Harris held a press conference with the sole purpose of amplifying a debunked lie about Trump praising Adolf Hitler — falsely claiming that “Trump said he wanted generals like Adolf Hitler had” and that “he wants a military that is not loyal to the Constitution, but loyal to him.” These false claims came from a debunked lie from The Atlantic from an anonymous source.

Despite being fully aware of the ongoing threats to Trump’s life — most of which have come from deranged leftists who believe that eliminating Trump is saving the U.S. from another Hitler — the Democrats have continued this insane rhetoric that will likely lead to more assassination attempts.

Speaking to The Daily Wire, Sen. Mike Lee made this exact argument, declaring that he finds Harris rhetoric “troubling,” adding: “especially because, to me, it feels like trolling for assassins.”

“When you’re constantly calling him Hitler, that’s really dangerous,” he said.

“I’m not one who thinks that no one can ever make a Hitler comparison or at least draw upon it, but when you identify him as much as they have with Hitler, you characterize him that way, it tends to leave a lot of people feeling morally justified in doing or saying things they wouldn’t otherwise do or say,” Lee added.

“They certainly should be taking it seriously in terms of its likelihood of increasing the threat matrix,” Lee said in response to a question from the Daily Wire about whether the Secret Service should treat Harris’ remarks as incitement to violence.
