‘The View’ Gave Walz A Chance To Bail Kamala Out, He Failed Miserably

During an appearance on “The View” on Monday, Vice-presidential nominee Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) was given an opportunity to bail Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris out — and he failed spectacularly.

Even in softball interviews on propaganda shows like “The View” where they are obviously aware of the easy questions that they will be asked, Democrats like Harris and Walz still put their foots in their mouths. One of the biggest fails recently has come in response to questions about what Harris would do differently from her boss, President Joe Biden. As Biden is deeply unpopular and many of his policies have had disastrous consequences, Harris has been desperately trying to distance herself from the Biden-Harris administration. There’s only one problem: the only answers she seems to have for this question are either “I’m obviously not Joe Biden” or “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”

One would think that Harris’ team would have prepared her to give even the most basic answer to this question, even if she just deflected with a weak response about hindsight. However, she couldn’t even do that — and apparently her running mate couldn’t either.

Walz was asked by “The View” co-host Sara Haines about Harris’ desperate efforts to portray herself as a “change” candidate despite being in the White House now.

“Governor, voters are saying change is a critical issue this election, but our ABC poll shows only a third of Americans believe a Harris-Walz ticket would bring that change,” Haines said.

She then asked him the same question that Harris failed to answer during her previous appearance on the show: “Can you point to a policy decision over the last four years that you and the vice president would have handled differently from President Biden?”

Walz completely failed to answer the simple question, stating: “Well, I think she’s, this expansion on Medicare is something that I wish would have been proposed sooner. But look, they’re tackling the issues that they needed to do.”

He then pivoted to the only talking point Democrats have when responding to criticism: whining about former President Donald Trump and blaming him for everything, stating that he “left a mess” for the Biden-Harris administration.

“There were other issues that were being dealt with,” Walz added. “And she’s her own leader. She’s got her own path, a new way forward, and I think she sees in Minnesota that we have similar values. Whether it’s providing kids with meals at school, we’re putting meals in our schools and trying to get guns out of them, that seems like a good thing.”
