Kamala Campaign Paid Oprah $1M For Interview

Kamala Campaign Bombshell Comes Out After Elections

Vice President Kamala Harris’ star-studded failed campaign apparently went so far as to pay one million dollars for an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Rather than focusing on the issues and outlining her plan to help the American people, Harris relied heavily on celebrity endorsements that just don’t have the reach that they used to. Democrats truly believed that the American people would be swayed by the Hollywood elites’ opinions rather than their own personal experiences and struggles.

Harris desperately avoided interviews with moderators that would not agree to her demands — such as comedian and famed podcaster Joe Rogan — but she was more than happy to appear on shows like Call Her Daddy and Oprah, who were willing to avoid pressing her too much on key issues. Apparently, Harris even went so far as to pay Oprah’s company, Harpo Productions, a staggering one million dollars on October 15 after the talk show host held a town hall event for Harris in September.

This was especially shocking considering the fact that Oprah was already a Harris supporter, so it is strange that she required such an astronomical fee to prop up her chosen candidate.

Oprah also appeared at Harris’ final campaign rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, just a few days before she lost the election — where she attempted to fearmonger about President Donald Trump.

“If we don’t show up tomorrow, it is entirely possible that we will not have the opportunity to ever cast a ballot again,” the talk show host warned at the time. “And let me be very clear, if you do not make sure that the people in your life can get to the polls, that is a mistake.”

When asked by a reporter about the massive payment from the Harris campaign, Oprah denied it, even though a filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) has confirmed two payments of $500,000.

Harris also reportedly spent $100,000 recreating the “Call Her Daddy” podcast set, allegedly because she was desperate to avoid letting Americans know that she would not travel to Los Angeles for the podcast. She instead forced the podcast to travel to her and recreated the exact set in a Washington, D.C. hotel room because she reportedly needed to control every aspect of the appearance to avoid gaffes.

She also spent a staggering $20 million on concerts for her events and $4 million on influencers.

The concert funds reportedly included a shocking $5 million for Megan Thee Stallion to perform her explicit song at a Harris campaign rally, which prompted mockery as numerous attendees could be seen exiting the event after she performed, which happened before Harris gave her speech.

Harris spent more than $1 billion on her campaign, yet ended the election season roughly $20 million in debt. Meanwhile, President-elect Donald Trump spent just $354 million in October compared to Harris $880 million.

The full scope of the Harris campaign’s spending is unclear at the moment, as they have 30 days after the election to release their post-election report, according to FEC rules.
