Judge Bruce Schroeder of Wisconsin has denied a request to re-arrest Kyle Rittenhouse after prosecutors complained about his moving to a “safe house” after receiving death threats, his lawyers claimed. Rittenhouse was released from jail on $2 Million bond mostly raised by his supporters, despite his GoFundMe being taken down in August. Prosecutors sought his re-arrest or an increase of $200,000 to his already massive bond.
“It is of concern to the defense that any information regarding Kyle’s location being publicly available would result in immediate harm to the Rittenhouse family,” Mark Richards, one of Rittenhouse’s attorneys, wrote in a filing.
“All it takes is one crackpot and it’s a problem,” Richards added.
Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger wasn’t hearing it though and insisted that a murder defendant’s address is a matter of public record in spite of Richards’ urging that “It is of concern to the defense that any information regarding Kyle’s location being publicly available would result in immediate harm to the Rittenhouse family,”
Binger still wasn’t satisfied and continued “We don’t know where an accused murderer is,” Binger said. “That’s the bottom line.”
“I’m simply asking that this defendant be treated like anyone else,” he said. “Every defendant is required to provide this information.”
According to the New York Post, Judge Schroeder “acknowledged that Rittenhouse violated the terms of the bond by not reporting to the court that he had moved — but said it wasn’t enough to have him rearrested or have his bond amount increased.” he continued ““To issue a warrant now for a defendant who has appeared at every hearing, that would be breaking the law, and I’m not going to do it,” Binger then asked the judge to allow his office access to Rittenhouse’s address, to which Schroeder responded with, “it has nothing to do with you.”
Epoch Times reported,
“Schroeder did require Rittenhouse to register his current address with the court, but it will be kept under seal and only he and the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department would have access to it.”
A Refresher on The Kenosha Riot and Shooting
CONTEXT: I spoke with the alleged shooter earlier in the night who stated he was there to protect property
He did not make racist comments, condemn #BLM, or mention political motivations for his actions

Kyle Rittenhouse is accused of murdering violent rioters Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, and injuring Gaige Grosskreutz. His attorney’s plan to argue self-defense, a conclusion that is largely reinforced by on scene reporting by independent journalists such as TheBlaze’s Elijah Schaeffer who covered the incident and witnessed it live. YouTube and Facebook have relentlessly purged their platforms of video evidence that vindicated Rittenhouse and banning any posts that were favorable to him. Unilaterally passing judgement well ahead of his trial.
