The House of Representatives has a very busy week to wrap up September.
The clock is ticking on the budget, and there is a government shutdown looming in October.
It also happens to have the start of the Biden impeachment inquiry.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) put Dems on notice with the first set of witnesses.
They’re Coming
The first three people before the House inquiry will be Bruce Dubinsky, a forensic accounting expert, Eileen O’Conner, former assistant attorney general at the Justice Department’s Tax Division, and Jonathan Turley, an attorney and professor at George Washington University Law School.
Comer stated, “This week, the House Oversight Committee will present evidence uncovered to date and hear from legal and financial experts about crimes the Bidens may have committed as they brought in millions at the expense of U.S. interests.”
I believe that Republicans will be leaning very heavily on the testimony of Turley, who also testified during the Trump impeachment.
Democrats have pushed the narrative that this impeachment is founded on fantasy instead of fact and evidence.
Of those first three witnesses, it will be Turley that has the most influence on Americans to believe this impeachment is deserved.
If Turley can manage to convince people this impeachment is in good standing, then Comer can move on to the tax and accounting specialists that can show exactly how this little scam of Hunter’s tied into Joe Biden.
