Israeli Ambassador Calls Out Biden: ‘We Expect Our Ally’ To Blame Hamas

Israeli Ambassador Calls Out Biden, Questions Relations

The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations has called out President Joe Biden for blaming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the stalled ceasefire talks — pointing out that Israel has “said yes” to peace deals while Hamas terrorists have rejected every peace deal they are presented with.

Speaking with reporters after emerging from back-to-back vacations at a Democrat megadonor’s mansion in California and at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home, Biden claimed that Netanyahu was not doing enough to secure a peace deal amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.

Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon made the comments during a Tuesday appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” where he explained that they “expect our ally” — the United States — to lay the blame for the matter in its rightful place, at the feet of Hamas terrorists.

“It’s very simple, the blame is on Hamas, period,” Danon said. “You cannot blame Netanyahu or the Israelis. Hamas always say[s] no. In May, President Biden put a deal on the table. We said yes, Hamas said no. In August, the same happened.”

He then specifically condemned Biden for disparaging Netanyahu on the same day that the bodies of six hostages kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, including Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin, were found in Rafah after being executed by the terrorists.

“So, blaming us the day that we are grieving after the brutal execution of six young Israelis, including the American boy, think about that, he was in captivity for almost 11 months, tortured, he was wounded, and he was executed,” Danon said.

“I saw the videos… and thinking about the moments those boys and girls were waiting and actually knew that they were going to execute them, those are savages, they are the ones to be blamed,” he added. “And we expect our ally, the U.S., to say, very clearly, Hamas is to be blamed for the fact we don’t have a deal today.”

Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade also questioned Danon about the Biden-Harris administration’s efforts to control Israel’s response to the horrific October 7 massacre, asking: “How about the fact that we’re trying to run the war from here, telling, for the longest time, not to go into Rafah? Do you think that helps or hurts?”

Danon responded by pointing out that American lawmakers have wanted Israel to finish its war on Hamas as quickly as possible to minimize innocent casualties, but trying to prevent Israel from targeting Hamas strongholds in Rafah has the opposite effect.

“I think it hurts the interests of the U.S., because the U.S. wanted us to finish the war as soon as possible,” he explained, adding: “I think we have to finish the war, not to end the war. We have to finish the war and the finish of the war will be the end of Hamas, period. We will not allow Hamas to stay in power.”
