Holy Smokes: Kamala Harris Snubs Biden

Harris

Buckle up and smoke em’ if you’ve got em’ We could be witnessing the first cracks in the veneer of the Biden-Harris regime. While Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have painstakingly portrayed themselves in public as being in lockstep with both one another and the greater Democrat-Socialist Congressional overlords, this past week, Kamala slipped in a big way.

In his not-a-state-of-the-union speech Joe Biden said “we have to come together. To rebuild trust between law enforcement and the people they serve. To root out systemic racism in our criminal justice system.” he continued “with the plans I outlined tonight, we have a real chance to root out systemic racism that plagues American life in many other ways.” His implications were clear and alarming, that our justice system and indeed America itself is racist.

Senator Tim Scott in a blistering response, rebuked Biden and the Democrats harshly,

“Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It’s backwards to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination. And it’s wrong to try to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present.”

Kamala Harris Peels Off

Here’s the kicker: Kamala Harris agreed with Republican Senator Tim Scott and rebuffed Biden’s statement. While she seemingly tried to soften it with some progressive rhetoric it was an obvious snub, so much so that even CNN’s Betsy Klein, Clare Foran and Caroline Kelly couldn’t ignore it.

They wrote that Harris told ABC’s Good Morning America,

“No. I don’t think America is a racist country but we also do have to speak truth about the history of racism in our country and its existence today,” Harris said. “I applaud the President for always having the ability and the courage, frankly, to speak the truth about it.”

Harris then pivoted straight back to her Black Lives Matter talking points decrying “White Supremacists” as  “one of the greatest threats to our national security.” continuing with her myopic, obtuse calls for ‘unity’.

“These are issues that we must confront and it doesn’t — it does not help to heal our country, to unify us as a people, to ignore the realities of that and I think the President has been outstanding and a real national leader on the issue … We want to unify the country, but not without speaking truth and requiring accountability as appropriate.”

On cannot unify a nation by driving critical race theory,  or isolating and villifying over half of the nation’s population while failing to address they tacit illegitimacy of their regime and continuing to crush all investigation and scrutiny into the process and results of their election. A first step would be to take extraordinary efforts to establish that they were rightfully elected beyond all dispute, however, this is something they simply cannot do.
