Steven Bannon has been indicted… again.
He beat the charges at the federal level thanks to a Donald Trump pardon.
That pardon, however, did not save him from the prosecutors in Manhattan.
Round 2
Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg handed down the indictment.
The charges come from the same federal case regarding the “We Build the Wall” funding.
According to Bragg, Bannon skimmed $1 million of the funds and operated a company that paid the other group members, even though they claimed every penny would go to the wall.
The fund raised about $15 million.
Bannon pleaded not guilty to the charges and claims this is nothing but another political attack by Democrats.
Bannon stated, “This is nothing more than a partisan political weaponization of the criminal justice system.”
He continued, “They are coming after all of us, not only President Trump and myself.
“I am never going to stop fighting. In fact, I have not yet begun to fight.
“They will have to kill me first.”
The next time we see Bannon, he could be talking to us in an orange jumpsuit.
Bannon is facing a minimum 30-day sentence for obstruction of Congress.
His sentencing hearing will be in October.
