Singer and rapper Kid Rock has just released a new song calling out Joe Biden, the media, social media companies, and a variety of major issues going on in the world today.
The incredibly versatile artist — who alternates between rock, hip hop, country, and heavy metal — has a new song, entitled “We The People,” which may or may not be part of his upcoming new album, “Bad Reputation,” set to be released sometime in 2022.
The song is one of three that Kid Rock released soon after announcing a major tour for 2022. He also hinted that this could be his last big tour ever.
In the lyrics to this new song, the outspoken Detroit rocker calls out Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci, Facebook, Twitter, CNN, and TMZ, as he addresses important issues like the COVID pandemic and inflation.
“Wear your mask, take your pills, Now a whole generation’s mentally ill. (Hey-yeah) man, F*ck Fauci,” Rock sings near the beginning of the song.
He goes on to address the hypocrisy of the media and the government regarding the response to COVID between former President Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
“But COVID’s near, it’s coming to town. We gotta act quick, shut our borders down. Joe Biden does, the media embraces. Big Don does it and they call him racist,” he sings.
Kid Rock even includes the popular chant “Let’s go Brandon” in the song, which is code for “F*ck Joe Biden,” coined after an NBC News reporter lied on TV during a NASCAR race about what the crowd was chanting.
The song’s chorus chants multiple times, “We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon).”
The singer goes on to call out social media companies and the mainstream media, before discussing some current issues plaguing the country.
“Inflation’s up, like the minimum wage, so it’s all the same, it ain’t a damn thing changed. (Hey-yeah Hey-yeah). You piece of s—, I don’t see color. ”Black lives matter”, no s—- MF. (Hey-yeah Hey-yeah),” he sings.
Rock then calls for unity, singing: “But we gotta keep fighting for the right to be free and every human being doesn’t have to agree. We all bleed red, brother, listen to me, it’s time for love and unity.”
After another chorus, he calls out CNN, TMZ, and trolls on social media, before calling for unity one last time:
“If you down with love and wanna make things better, all we gotta do is just come together. Weather the storm, and take my hand, then follow my lead to the promised land. ’Cause we the people, we gotta unite to follow that good time guiding light. Climb aboard this love boat and rock that b—- up and down the coast. In order to form a more perfect union, do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America.”
The song then goes into chants of “Let’s Go Brandon” before Rock says: “Standing up, and standing tall, cause it’s all for one and it’s one for all. All, all, all. We the people (ooh) We the people.”
The song then ends with more “Let’s Go Brandon” chants.
