The FBI has a big problem on its hands.

The Twitter files drop has opened the door to accusations of collusion between the FBI and Twitter executives.

Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) is out for blood, stating, “We are definitely pursuing the Department of Justice and also the FBI.”

Precedent Set

The Democrats, in their quest to take down Donald Trump, have set some rules that Turner plans on exploiting.

He stated, “And luckily, the January 6 committee has established some great legal precedent that shows the Congress has full access.

“So they’re going to have very much a difficult time trying to prevent us getting those documents, and I think it will show a very troubling pattern.

“And we’re also gonna be looking for who the mastermind is since this is not based on intelligence, this is not foreign malign actors, that the malign actors transmit the FBI themselves.”

There was also an operation where the FBI was sending over requests for accounts to be banned.

For instance, on one occasion, the FBI requested four accounts be suspended, and Twitter obliged by suspending three of them.

When Turner was asked about cutting the funding for the program, he stated, “Since the Republicans are taking the House, this will be one of the number one targets to make certain that the FBI does not fund this activity, which is clearly, you know, beyond the scope of what the FBI should be doing, is very constitutionally troubling.”

Something tells me we have barely scraped the surface on this one.
