Biden will surely take a recent court decision as a loss for his administration.
Most of us, however, would say the judge saved Biden from a massive mistake.
Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk has blocked Title 42 from ending on December 21.
Win or Loss?
This decision may have literally saved Biden from himself.
We are already seeing 7,000 illegal immigrant encounters every day.
If Title 42 is removed, we will probably see at least double that, by most estimates.
This is the last real rule in place to force the deportation of some illegal immigrants.
Without it in place, we would have about 25 percent more illegals in this country over the last two years than we already do.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt celebrated the decision.
Paxton stated, “I sued Biden nearly 2 yrs. ago to keep Remain-in-Mexico.
“The Admin played games all the way to SCOTUS, but tonight Texas & USA WINS.
“Biden’s open-border agenda won’t survive my legal attacks.”
Schmitt added, “BREAKING: In our lawsuit against the Biden Administration over their cancellation of the ‘Remain in Mexico’ Policy, a federal court in Texas just stayed the Biden Administration’s latest memo cancelling MPP, keeping the vital program in place.”
Biden will most certainly appeal the case, but at least for now, we get the win.
