Conservative Actor Breaks Down In Tears After Losing Home In LA Fires

During an appearance on CNN, conservative actor James Woods broke down in tears while discussing the loss of his home amid the massive California wildfires.

As wildfires continue to rage throughout Los Angeles with the blaze still being zero percent contained as of Wednesday evening, roughly 24 hours into the crisis, homes of celebrities and average Americans alike have been destroyed. The fires have been exacerbated by the horrific mismanagement of the Democrat-dominated state and local governments — including the climate cult’s refusal to allow fire mitigation procedures, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) reducing fire department funding, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) prioritization of fish over his citizens by sending water back into the ocean rather than routing it to the people, which led to fire hydrants being empty.

Amid all of this, unapologetically conservative actor James Woods appeared on CNN’s “News Central” on Wednesday to discuss the loss of his home and his eight-year-old niece’s heartbreaking reaction to the loss.

“It was paradise. And our neighbors were, you know, we knew them all,” Woods told host Pamala Brown.

“You know now it’s all yeah it’s a reminder anything can be just taken away in an instant,” Brown responded.

Woods then began tearing up as he recalled his eight-year-old niece offering to pay to rebuild his house with her piggy bank money.

“But Sarah was on with her eight-year-old niece last night, and she came out,” the actor explained. “I’m sorry. Just, you know, one day, you’re swimming in the pool, and the next day, it’s all gone. But she came out with her little Yeti piggy bank for us to rebuild our house.”

“Oh my gosh, James Woods, we all hope that you will be able to rebuild your house, maybe starting with that little Yeti piggy bank,” Brown responded with a clearly empathetic tone. “We’re just glad that you’re okay and your wife is okay. I’m sorry for your loss.”

Woods replied: “I thought I was stronger than this.”

“Yeah. No, I mean, this is real, and it’s raw,” Brown reassured him. “Strength is not measured by whether, you know, you hold in crying or not. Strength is what you are doing now and, helping your neighbors and shining a light on the great, amazing work of all those firefighters and emergency crews out there. You have so much strength, and we appreciate you coming on to reflect what so many others, just like you, are experiencing.”
