A massive explosion in Evansville, Indiana, has claimed the lives of at least three people.
Additionally, 39 homes in the area have been damaged by the explosion.
Local authorities are concerned that the body count will only rise once they go through the rubble.

Fire Department Chief Mike Connelly stated, “There could be other victims, we have not completed our search.
“The buildings are not yet safe to enter.
“Initial survey of the damage is that 39 houses have been damaged from either severe to minor damage.”
Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke also commented on social media…

Numerous agencies are now on-scene and asking everyone to stay away from the area while they secure the zone and search for more victims.
A full investigation is underway to find the cause of the blast.
