Biden Team Now Focused on Changing our Currency

Democrats chant the sentiment that White men are evil and should be eradicated even though they keep electing White men over and over again. Instead of focusing on the important matters that the United States is facing, the Biden team is focusing on changing our currency.

Change in Our Currency in the Works

It looks like Harriet Tubman will probably be replacing Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.

On Monday, Biden press secretary Jen Psaki said that the Treasuring Department is in the process of putting Tubman on the $20 bill. This change in currency is one that some are questioning the importance of.

Andrew Jackson is the United State’s seventh president. Under the Obama administration, Treasury Secretary had called for Tubman to replace the former president.

However, when Donald Trump got into office, he called the move a stunt at political correctness.

Political Correctness Move

News 4 Jax reports:

But Tubman’s fate had been in doubt since the 2016 presidential campaign based on critical comments by then-candidate Donald Trump, who branded the move “pure political correctness.”

Trump administration Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin did not move forward with the decision by the Obama administration. Instead, Mnuchin in 2019 announced a delay in redesigning the $20 bill in order to redesign the $10 and $50 bills first to improve security features to thwart counterfeiters.

Tubman was a crucial person in helping slaves find freedom on the Underground Railroad.

Its a Done Deal

Biden Press Secretary Psaki told reporters that the Biden team will be making changes to U.S. currency and will continue to the efforts to do so.

“It is important that our …. money reflect the history and diversity of our country and Harriet Tubman’s image gracing the new $20 note would certainly reflect that,” Psaki said. “We are exploring ways to speed up that effort.”

The timeline for this occurring is not announced yet but will be when finalized by the Treasury Department.
