President Joe Biden is being ruthlessly mocked on social media after lying that his campaign was “basically scandal-free.”
Apparently, according to Biden, the coverup of his son’s laptop and the evidence of his crimes on that laptop was not a scandal — nor was the coverup of his clear cognitive decline.
During a speech at the Democrat National Committee’s (DNC) holiday reception in Washington, D.C., Biden falsely claimed that his entire presidential campaign had not contained a single scandal.
“We’ve run a campaign that’s basically scandal-free. That’s hard to do in American politics these days,” he lied.
The comments immediately went viral on social media, with the Trump War Room rapid response director Jacob Schneider sharing the clip and mocking Biden’s obvious lie in a post on X.
“BIDEN: ‘We’ve run a campaign that’s basically scandal free. That’s hard to do in American politics.’ (Except covering up his obvious cognitive decline, peddling his family’s influence, hiding classified documents, etc etc etc),” Schneider wrote.
