Antifa Starts Shooting and Cops Shoot Right Back

Antifa brand Anarchists who think they can prevent the Atlanta Police Foundation from building a new $90 million law enforcement center, by squatting on the property, escalated to open warfare. 26-year-old Manuel Esteban Paez Teran started shooting and police shot back, killing him.

Antifa opens fire on police

On Thursday, January 19, investigators released the name of the dead Antifa related anarchist. Law enforcement had enough of their nastiness so officers “were trying to clear protesters camping at the site of a planned Atlanta-area public safety training center.

The anarchists set up a Seattle style “Autonomous Zone” to block the “cop city” development.

Teran, as reported by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, was “shot and killed Wednesday morning.” He had been “inside a tent in the woods and did not comply with verbal commands from law enforcement officers trying to clear the area.” That wasn’t what got the Antifa supporter blasted.

When Teran shot and injured a state trooper, other law enforcement officers returned fire.” He didn’t have a Kevlar tent, so won’t be doing that again.

The Antifa oriented activists don’t trust the story cops are telling so “called for the release of law enforcement body camera footage.” For the past year, the anarchists set up sniper posts in the trees as they camped out in squalor. They’re upset that building a cop training center would involve “cutting down so many trees that it would be environmentally damaging.” They’ll grow back with replacements planted elsewhere.

They really object to “investing so much money in what they call ‘Cop City,‘ which they say will be used to practice ‘urban warfare.” Why would they worry about that unless they know they’ll be the targets of that warfare in the urban jungles. They got a taste of it when they seized a few blocks worth of downtown Seattle.

Trooper in intensive care

Colonel Chris Wright, who serves as commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Safety, verified on Wednesday that “the injured trooper underwent surgery and was in intensive care.

The wounds inflicted by the Antifa soldier required “another surgery Thursday morning.” They aren’t releasing his name “because disclosure would compromise security against criminal or terroristic acts due to retaliation.

About 25 scattered Antifa campsites “were located and removed Wednesday.” The anarchists were armed with “mortar-style fireworks, edged weapons, pellet rifles, gas masks and a blow torch.” All of the gear is safely in an evidence locker now.

After the shooting, seven of the irregular troops “were arrested and charged with domestic terrorism and criminal trespass.” GBI is still considering more charges if they think they can make them stick. The anarchists “range in age from 20 to 34 years, and none of them are Georgia residents.

The Antifa troops weren’t just peacefully camping in the woods, they were operating as a guerrilla group performing sabotage and mayhem. Along with “illegally occupying” the area, the merry band of anarchists were “committing acts that endanger the community, including arson and using explosives.

The area they cleared of Antifa sympathizers on Wednesday “was conducted in the same area where a handful of people were arrested last month and also charged with domestic terrorism.” In that incident, they were throwing rocks at cops and firefighters.
