They are placing Terry Bradshaw under fire for some controversial comments he made regarding some current events in the NFL.

This was a man who played for 14 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and won four Super Bowl titles in a six-year period (1974, 1975, 1978, and 1979). He would become the first NFl quarterback to win three and then four Super Bowls, and he led the Pittsburgh Steelers to eight AFC Central Championships.

He was inducted in the NFL Hall of Fame in 1989, his first year of eligibility. Because his stats speak for himself, he was a natural fit for the broadcast booth after he retired. His people skills are about as good as his quarterback skills, but due to a rare slip of the tongue, people are now putting Terry Bradshaw under fire. What did he say?

Terry Bradshaw is no stranger to controversial moments on television, and a few weeks ago he was at it again. This time he was speaking about Antonio Brown’s incident where he got into it with Bucs coach Bruce Arians and paraded off the field in the middle of the game.

Granted, Bradshaw is dealing with Antonio Brown and he has some issues. However, the issue is that Bradshaw said, “put him in a straitjacket.”

Oh boy, Terry. Oh boy. Open mouth, insert foot. You might have four Super Bowls, sir, but boy, you need to be more careful about what you say in that broadcast booth!

Terry Bradshaw ought to be ashamed of himself for that comment regarding Antonio Brown. “They need to put him in a straitjacket…”

It just goes to show you, that when you put these older past NFL stars in the broadcast booth, there are times where they might make less-than-perfect remarks. The NFL keeps telling us to de-stigmatize mental help, but then they have other guys like this that say we should commit someone.

On the other hand….

There is a growing consensus of people that are not impressed with those that play in the NFL. There are even some people that have resorted to mocking this multi-billion dollar organization by calling it the “National Felon League.”

So where do you stand on this issue? Should they put Terry Bradshaw under fire for this or does he have a point?
