Joe Biden set the trap, and the White House walked right into it.

After Joe Biden’s off-the-cuff remarks during his “60 Minutes” interview, the White House was scrambling to set the record straight.

The problem, however, was that these were not gaffes.

The only reasonable conclusion is that with the White House walking back all of Joe’s statements, Joe is not the one calling the shots.

Walk It Back

This administration has probably just supplied the GOP with some great ad material.

Biden, regarding the pandemic, stated, “The pandemic is over.

“We still have a problem with Covid.

“We’re still doing a lot of work on it. It’s — but the pandemic is over.”

The White House responded, “The President’s comments do not mark a change in policy toward the administration’s handling of the virus, and there are no plans to lift the Public Health Emergency.”

Biden also stated that the United States would send troops on the ground to help defend Taiwan if China invades.

The White House walked back that comment as well.

Biden’s critics jumped all over this…

Senator Cruz (R-TX) got in on the fun as well…

Miller followed up that tweet above with some very hard-hitting statements.

He added, “It wasn’t a gaffe. It wasn’t a slip.

“He said it pretty definitely twice.

“In the same interview he dared anyone who questioned his mental fitness. Here’s the example. Right here.

“Biden reportedly complains that he looks weak. This is why.

“His own administration undercuts him every time he opens his mouth.

“Is he in charge or not?”

I think that is the question most Americans would like answered, sooner rather than later.
