Guess who was meeting with top White House officials as recently as September?
That would be none other than crypto-swindler Sam Bankman-Fried.
He even managed to get his little brother invited to one of the meetings.
Explain This
Steve Ricchetti, who is now serving as the counselor to Joe Biden, met with Bankman-Fried on at least three different occasions.
The most recent of these was in September.
Deputy Chief of Staff Bruce Reed reportedly took the other meeting.
These meetings were undoubtedly to pay back the favor for all the money that Bankman-Fried gave to Democrats during the last election cycle.
How much did he give?
Well, he was second only to George Soros, if that gives you any idea.
Even though Joe Biden received tens of thousands from Fried directly to his campaign and via the Biden Victory Fund, he has yet to say if he will return any of the money to help the victims of Bankman-Fried’s little scam.
All told, he wrote checks for about $10 million for the entire election cycle.
New York prosecutors recently hit Bankman-Fried with eight criminal counts, including conspiracy to commit campaign finance violations.
