White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to address questions about a leaked voicemail Joe Biden apparently left for his son, Hunter Biden, found on his laptop about his international business dealings after he previously denied having any such discussions with Hunter on multiple occasions.

Biden has actually consistently denied consulting with his son about his dubious business endeavors, although photographic proof shows he interacted with Hunter’s foreign business partners.

The Daily Mail just recently released a 2018 voicemail supposedly of Joe Biden informing Hunter he wished to talk about a New York Times story about his child’s transactions with a multi-million-dollar Chinese business.

“Why is there a voicemail of the President talking to his son about his overseas business dealings if the President has said he’s never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings?” Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre on Tuesday, the White House transcript shows.

“Well, first, I’ll say that what the President said stands. So if he — if that’s what the President said, that is what stands,” she replied.

Doocy pushed, even more, discussing how the voicemail reveals Joe Biden informed his kid,”I think you’re clear.”

“How is that not him talking to his son about his overseas business dealings?” Doocy asked.

“We’re not — from this podium, I am not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop.  I will — I am not —” Jean-Pierre stumbled.

Doocy asked whether she was “disputing that it’s President’s voice on the voicemail.”

“I am not going to talk about alleged materials on a laptop. It’s not happening,” Jean-Pierre responded.

“Peter, I refer you to his son’s representative,” she said before moving on.

RealClearPolitics press reporter Philip Wegmann gave a follow-up inquiry about Doocy’s question later on in the press briefing, with a similarly stunning response from Karine Jean-Pierre

“…You seemed to dismiss Peter’s question about his conversation with his son, Hunter Biden, with regards to his business dealings, and I’m wondering: How is that silence consistent with the President’s promise to always level with the American public?” Wegmann asked.

“Phil, I hear your question, but what I can tell you from here, standing at this podium, is that I cannot comment on any materials from the laptop. And I would refer you to the representatives of Hunter Biden. That’s what I can share with you at this podium, at this time,” she told him.
