Donald Trump is still being coy.
But, if you can read between the lines, his decision seems pretty clear.
Trump is going to run again in 2024.
He’s Running
I have been brutally honest on whether I think Trump is the best man to win.
Mind you, this is not about supporting Trump or not supporting him, just trying to find the best candidate to crush Democrats in 2024.
From the feedback, I would say this is pretty evenly split among people who think Trump can win and that Trump should play kingmaker and give the nod to DeSantis.
When Trump was asked about it, again, he stated. “Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore.
“In my own mind, I’ve already made that decision.”
Then he added an obvious hint: “I would say my big decision will be whether I go before or after.
“You understand what that means?”
Yes, we do, Mr. Trump… it means you are running.
Trump continued, adding credence to my assumption, “Do I go before or after? That will be my big decision.
“I just think that there are certain assets to before.
“Let people know. I think a lot of people would not even run if I did that because, if you look at the polls, they don’t even register. Most of these people.
“And I think that you would actually have a backlash against them if they ran. People want me to run.
“Look, I feel very confident that, if I decide to run, I’ll win.”
I will go out on a limb and say not only will Trump run, but he will announce it before the mid-term elections to cash in on the fundraising season.
Trump wants his candidates to win, but he wants that money in his war chest even more.
He will hit when the iron is hot and the wallets are out.
