Army Ends Transgender Procedures, Bans Trans Recruits

U.S. Army Bombshell Announcement

The United States Army has announced that American taxpayers will no longer be forced to fund transgender surgeries, and the branch would no longer be recruiting so-called “transgender” people.

The announcement came in a post on X, with the official U.S. Army account writing: “The #USArmy will no longer allow transgender individuals to join the military and will stop performing or facilitating procedures associated with gender transition for service members.”

This decision is in line with President Donald Trump’s recent executive order declaring that people who “express a false ‘gender identity’ divergent from an individual’s sex cannot satisfy the rigorous standards necessary for military service.”

“Consistent with the military mission and longstanding DoD policy, expressing a false ‘gender identity’ divergent from an individual’s sex cannot satisfy the rigorous standards necessary for military service,” the executive order read. “Beyond the hormonal and surgical medical interventions involved, adoption of a gender identity inconsistent with an individual’s sex conflicts with a soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle, even in one’s personal life. A man’s assertion that he is a woman, and his requirement that others honor this falsehood, is not consistent with the humility and selflessness required of a service member.”

Trump’s order goes on to state that he official policy of the U.S. government is to “establish high standards for troop readiness, lethality, cohesion, honesty, humility, uniformity, and integrity.”

So-called “transgender” individuals do not align with that policy. Beyond the fact that transgenderism is a mental illness, these individuals require serious surgical procedures and daily medications that are not compatible with military life. For example, how is a soldier serving in combat supposed to take daily injections or medications, or even perform maintenance of their surgically-altered genitals?

Trump made that argument in the executive order, noting that the policy is “inconsistent with the medical, surgical, and mental health constraints on individuals with gender dysphoria.”

Conservatives celebrated the news on social media, with many pointing out that the Army’s decision is just common sense.

“If one is so mentally confused that they think they’re something other than their biological gender, then they’re not mentally fit for our armed forces. Simple as that,” one user wrote.

“The fact that this was even a post that needed to be made is insane. Return to normalcy,” another user wrote.
