Two Trump Aides Now Being Targeted By Jan. 6 Committee

The US House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol (hereafter referred to as ‘the hyper-partisan witch-hunt’ or ‘faux committee’) will vote next week to hold two former White House aides to President Donald Trump in contempt.

Peter Navarro, Trump’s former trade advisor, as well as Dan Scavino, a previous White House Communications aide, can both face prosecution following the hyper-partisan witch-hunt’s March 28th vote.

Navarro was summoned at the start of February. The faux committee alleges that he perpetuated claims of voter fraud throughout the 2020 political election.

“He hasn’t been shy about his role in efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election and has even discussed the former President’s support for those plans,” said committee chairman Mississippi Representative Bennie Thompson in a statement regarding the subpoena.

Navarro and Trump’s national security advisor Michael Flynn both sought to avoid questioning by declaring executive privilege on the advice of President Trump’s counsel. The Biden regime rejected their privilege claims in March saying they were not justified or in the national interest.

White House deputy counsel Jonathan Su wrote a letter to Navarro and Flynn’s legal representative informing him of the rejection.

“President Biden has determined that an assertion of executive privilege is not in the national interest, and therefore is not justified, with respect to particular subjects within the purview of the select committee,” Su wrote, per ABC News.

Politico reported Navarro said in a text message “If President Trump waives the privilege, I would be happy to testify… It is premature for the committee to pursue criminal charges against an individual of the highest rank within the White House for whom executive privilege undeniably applies.”

Scavino was summoned in September of 2021 as well as served a month later. He is one of the longest-serving aides to Trump.

According to reports, the former deputy White House chief of staff for communications was with President Trump on Jan. 5 2021 during a meeting where they discussed persuading members of Congress to withhold certification of the unconstitutional electoral college results.

Scavino took legal action to stop the committee from subpoenaing his phone records from Verizon.

Formed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, after the Senate rejected the formation of a Joint 9-11 like committee, the ‘select committee’  was outed as a hyper-partisan witch hunt when Pelosi rejected committee appointments from GOP leaders to handpick her own Anti-Trump RINO members. It has since released over 90 subpoenas to testify before the political theater.

The Jan. 6 committee formerly subpoenaed Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows, previous presidential advisor Steve Bannon, and the chief of staff to former acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller, Kashyap Patel.

Both Meadows, as well as Bannon, have been held in contempt for refusing to obey the ridiculous subpoenas after the committee and Democrat-led House voted. While the Justice Department has not pursued any charges against Meadows, Bannon has been fingered by a grand jury and is waiting for his trial.
