This weekend, Donald Trump paraded his possible VP candidates out in front of donors at a big event in Florida.

There are a lot of names being tossed around as possible VP choices for Donald Trump, with most of them at his event this weekend.

However, if you read between the lines and take some small facts into account, this suddenly becomes a two-person race.

And Then There Were Two

All the big names were in Florida this week to meet and greet the big-money donors.

According to reports, Trump wanted his possible VPs to get out there and talk to these people so he could get some feedback.

Among others, in attendance were Rep. Bryron Donalds (R-FL), Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Senator J.D Vance (R-OH), and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).

I will add Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to the list, but I have not seen whether she was at the event or not.

On Vance, Trump stated, “J.D. has turned out to be incredible. You know, he wasn’t a supporter of mine. It shows you I can change him. He was saying things like, ‘This guy’s a total disaster.’”

So, imagine those quotes being used in ads against Trump by Democrats… Vance is out.

There has been a lot of talk about Donalds and lately, Rubio, but they are both from Florida.

That pesky 12th Amendment would cost Trump all of Florida’s electoral votes if he chose either of them, so they are out.

That leaves us Stefanik and Scott.

Trump has not said much about Stefanik, but she is reportedly among his top women candidates, so she is still alive.

On Scott, Trump stated, “As a candidate, he did a good job, but as a surrogate, he’s unbelievable.”

So, I am going to say this is between Stefanik and Scott. Between those two, who do you want to see?
